Formed in 1891 the Emerald Cricket Club (ECC) has a long and proud history with traditions formed by successful teams, great cricketers and keen administrators who have acted in the best interests of the ECC and the game of cricket. While recognizing the past and preserving its traditions the club is equally focused on maintaining and improving a club culture that will deliver a predictable and repeatable model for on-field success on personal growth.
During season 2007/8 the ECC competed in the West Gippsland Cricket Association (WGCA) with success with four senior teams participating in finals and both the Third and Fifth XI securing premierships. By blending youth and experience the ECC believe we are in a position to re-establish the club as a power in the WGCA.
